6 people, including infant, remain in hospital after Ontario collision: OPP
Summary: A terrible car crash at a rural Ontario intersection has left six people in the hospital, including a baby, parents, grandparents, and the driver of an SUV. Tragically, five children between the ages of 4 and 12 lost their lives when their passenger van collided with the SUV. Police are still investigating the details of the crash. By a sad coincidence, the police are launching a "Stop, Look, Live" safety campaign to help prevent accidents on country roads. In that region alone, there have been nearly 5,000 crashes since 2021, with many happening at intersections. First responders and the local community are receiving support to help them through this heartbreaking event.
