A Systematic Review of Medical Image Quality Assessment.

Summary: Doctors need clear pictures like X-rays and MRIs to figure out what is wrong with patients. If the picture is blurry, it can lead to mistakes. This paper looked at 42 studies to see how we check if a medical picture is good. It compares humans checking the pictures to computers checking them. It turns out that smart computer programs (Artificial Intelligence) are doing a great job at fixing bad pictures and making them clearer. But we still need better rules and more examples to teach the computers. In the end, better pictures mean better care for patients.
