An evolutionary game modeling to develop recycling strategy of used batteries of new energy vehicles: implications for circular economy.
Summary: Electric cars are great for the planet, but what happens to their old batteries? This study looks at a "game" played by four groups: the national government, local governments, car makers, and recycling companies. The researchers found that teamwork between car makers and recyclers is the real secret to success. Government rules help kickstart the process, but over time, the companies must truly want to work together to keep recycling going. Also, if local governments don't get a fair share of the rewards, they might stop helping. Overall, recycling these batteries creates a cleaner world and exciting new business chances!
