Are those body aches a sign of gallstones?
Summary: Do you have strange body aches? It might not just be stress or getting older. Gallstones cause a very specific kind of pain. It usually hits your upper right belly or right shoulder, especially after eating a heavy, greasy meal.
Mild, come-and-go bloating usually isn't gallstones. But if you have intense, steady pain that lasts for hours, you should see a doctor. An ultrasound is the best way to check for them. If you also get a fever or chills, don't try to sweat it out at home—go to the emergency room!
