Assessment of mineral nutrition level and heavy metals toxicity in Kosovo herbal remedies.

Summary: People often use herbal remedies to stay healthy, but are they always safe? This study looked at medicinal plants from Kosovo to see exactly what is inside them. The researchers tested the plant parts used for medicine to check for good minerals that help our bodies grow strong, as well as dangerous heavy metals that can make us sick. It is very important to know if the natural medicines we take are actually nutritious and safe, or if they are hiding toxic surprises!
