Brain & Nervous System

Summary: Your brain and nervous system do a lot of work every day! Sometimes, your body is super tired, but your brain just won't turn off, which makes it really hard to fall asleep. This bad sleep, or even certain foods, can cause you to wake up with a morning headache.

The nervous system is complex. For example, conditions like autism and ADHD can happen together (sometimes called AuDHD), and the signs can change as kids grow up. If you ever feel too stressed, doing a "vagus nerve reset" can help you calm down. Taking good care of your brain means keeping it active, resting when you are tired, and being very patient if you are healing from a head injury.
