Cancer pain experiences in adult patients with cancer: A qualitative meta-ethnography.
Summary: Cancer pain is tough. It hurts the body, but it also deeply hurts the mind and spirit. Researchers looked at 22 different studies to understand exactly what adults with cancer go through. They found that severe pain can feel like it is destroying a person's life. However, patients also show amazing strength. They often use their faith, inner toughness, and spirituality to fight back and cope. To truly help patients, doctors and nurses must treat the whole person, not just the physical pain. Offering support for the mind and spirit is just as important as giving medicine.
