<![CDATA[123 Real-World Patient and Caregiver Experiences With Breast Cancer (BC) Risk of Recurrence (ROR) in the US: Results of an Online Survey and Social Media Analysis]]>

Summary: Many women with a common type of breast cancer worry about their cancer coming back. This is called the "risk of recurrence." A recent survey and study of social media posts showed that patients really want to know more about this risk. They also want more emotional support. Sadly, many women feel they don't get enough information from their doctors about their chances of staying healthy. Patients say that stopping the cancer from returning is their number one goal. The study shows that doctors need to do a better job of educating and supporting breast cancer patients about their future risks.
