<![CDATA[FDA Grants Priority Review to Tislelizumab/Zanidatamab in 1L HER2+ Gastric Cancers ]]>

Summary: The FDA is speeding up its review of a promising new treatment for advanced stomach and esophageal cancers. The new approach combines two targeted drugs—tislelizumab and zanidatamab—with standard chemotherapy. In a major study, patients who received this new super-combo lived much longer without their cancer growing, averaging 12.4 months compared to just 8.1 months for those on standard care. Overall survival also saw a massive jump, from 19.2 months to 26.4 months. This priority review is a huge step forward for patients fighting HER2-positive stomach cancer.
