<![CDATA[Finerenone in HFmrEF and HFpEF: Findings from FINEARTS-HF]]>

Summary: Heart failure is a tough problem. Over 3 million Americans have a type where the heart struggles to pump blood properly (known as HFpEF). A new study called FINEARTS-HF brings good news. A drug named finerenone helps protect the heart, lowers the risk of heart failure events, and keeps people out of the hospital.

The best part? The study showed that finerenone works just as well even if the patient has a history of ischemic heart disease. This makes it much easier for doctors to treat patients safely without worrying about their past heart issues.
