<![CDATA[MYTHIC Trial Demonstrates Efficacy in Platinum-Resistant Ovarian Cancer]]>
Summary: The MYTHIC clinical trial is bringing exciting new hope to women with a tough type of ovarian cancer that no longer responds to standard platinum chemotherapy. Doctors tested a new combination of two drugs (lunresertib and zedoresertib) and found amazing results. In the study, 80% of patients saw their tumors shrink. For a specific genetic group (known as CCNE1-amplified), the response rate reached an impressive 60% at the recommended dose. Because these results are so strong and help fill a major medical need, the FDA has put this new treatment on the "fast track" to get it to patients faster.
