Central Arkansas’ Sam Kamran named 2026 Woman of Impact winner as local leaders join national fight against women’s No. 1 killer

Summary: Sam Kamran, a digital marketing consultant, was just named the 2026 Woman of Impact for Central Arkansas. She earned this title after a high-energy, nine-week campaign to fight heart disease and stroke, which is the leading cause of death for women. Heart disease is a huge deal—it affects nearly 45% of women over age 20 and takes the life of 1 in 3 women. But there is a lot of hope! Over 80% of heart events can be prevented if you make healthy lifestyle choices, learn your blood pressure numbers, and know the warning signs. Sam used her marketing skills to bring the community together, raise money for the American Heart Association, and remind everyone that women's heart health needs to be front and center.
