Classification of motor imagery based on multi-scale feature extraction and fusion-residual temporal convolutional network.
Summary: Imagine if you could control a computer just by thinking about moving your hands or feet. That is what a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) does! It reads your brain waves. But, older computer programs have a hard time understanding these complex brain signals. Scientists built a new, smarter computer program called MS-TCNet. It looks at the brain waves in different ways at the same time to understand them better. When they tested it, the new program guessed the right thoughts up to 93% of the time! This makes it much easier and more reliable for people to use their minds to control machines.
