Comparative effectiveness and acceptability of non-pharmacological interventions on improving social participation among older adults: a Bayesian network meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials.
Summary: Staying social is super important as we get older, but what is the best way to help seniors stay connected? Researchers looked at 54 studies with over 8,700 older adults to find out. They compared different ways to boost social life without using medicine. They found that a mix of physical and mental rehab worked best. It helped seniors the most and was the easiest for them to stick with. Other things like health classes and chatting groups helped too, but the mixed rehab was the clear winner!
