Configurational impact of motivational factors on postdoctoral job satisfaction.

Summary: Postdocs are super important for science, but many are unhappy with their jobs. If they leave, science slows down. This study looked at a big global survey to see what makes postdocs happy or unhappy at work. Instead of looking at just one thing, they found that it is a mix of things that matters. They discovered five different mixes that make postdocs happy and three that make them unhappy. This helps schools know exactly how to support their scientists better.
