Summary: When germs invade our bodies, our immune cells are the first to fight back. They use special proteins to stop the germs from multiplying. However, scientists don't know all the proteins involved in this fight. In this study, researchers used a special tool to map out these proteins in human immune cells. By looking at how certain parts of the proteins react during an infection, they hope to discover new ways our body defends itself.
