Cytokinetics drug Myqorzo meets twin efficacy goals in study of genetic heart disease
Summary: Cytokinetics has great news about its heart drug, Myqorzo. In a big study called ACACIA, the drug helped people with a genetic heart problem called non-obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Patients had fewer heart failure symptoms and showed better heart fitness. The drug is already being sold for a more severe version of this heart problem. If the government approves it for this new group of patients, it could help many more people and the company could make up to $5 billion a year!
