Dark Matter May Have Been Detected by Accident, Scientists Reveal
Summary: Scientists might have accidentally found dark matter back in 2019! Dark matter is a mysterious invisible substance that makes up most of the universe. Researchers looked at old data from when two black holes crashed into each other. These crashes send ripples through space called gravitational waves. Out of 28 crashes they studied, one special crash from July 2019 looked like it happened inside a giant cloud of dark matter. It is not 100% proven yet, but this could be a huge new way to study the universe's biggest secrets.
