Digital Ergonomics of NavegApp, a Novel Serious Game for Spatial Cognition Assessment: Content Validity and Usability Study.

Summary: Alzheimer's disease is a major cause of memory loss, and catching it early is very important. Doctors think that how we find our way around—our "spatial memory"—might be one of the first things to go wrong. To test this in a fun way, scientists created a video game called NavegApp. They asked 8 experts and over 200 people, including those at risk for Alzheimer's, to try it out. The results? Both the experts and the players found the game easy to use and a great way to test memory. While more research is needed, this game could soon be a helpful tool to spot Alzheimer's early!
