Summary: Have you ever learned something new and then forgot it a few weeks later? This study looked at how practicing a new skill helps you remember it. Researchers taught nine college students a new naming game. Then, they tested them over 30 days to see what they remembered. They found that practicing the skill, even just a little bit, helped students remember it much better than not practicing at all. For most students, how they spaced out their practice didn't matter, as long as they did it!
