Effect of persulfate dosage on organic degradation using N-doped biochar: Reaction pathway and environmental implications.

Summary: Scientists are looking for better ways to clean up polluted water. They are testing a special kind of treated charcoal to help break down harmful chemicals, like BPA (a chemical used to make plastics). To do this, they add a cleaning chemical called persulfate. In this study, they wanted to see exactly how much of the cleaning chemical is needed to get the best results. They used computers and lab tests to watch how the chemicals react and destroy the pollution.
