Summary: Living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) requires constant care, but traditional rehabilitation programs often require frequent hospital visits, leading many patients to drop out. Could smartphone apps and digital tools be the solution? Researchers have designed a comprehensive study—known as an "umbrella review"—to analyze all existing data on digital self-management. This project aims to determine if these modern tools effectively improve health and help patients breathe easier, potentially replacing or enhancing difficult face-to-face therapies.
