Effectiveness of Switching from Multiple-Inhaler to Once-Daily Single-Inhaler Triple Therapy in Patients with COPD in a Real-World Setting in Japan.
Summary: People with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) often need three different medicines to help them breathe easier. Taking these medicines from multiple different inhalers every day can be confusing and hard to remember. This study looked at over 2,300 patients in Japan who switched from using multiple inhalers to just one single inhaler that holds all three medicines. The results were great! After switching to the single inhaler, patients had fewer breathing attacks (flare-ups) and were much better at taking their medicine every day. Using one inhaler makes life easier and keeps lungs healthier.
