Effects of an Educational Health Belief Model Program on Promoting Preventive Behaviors for Breast Cancer Among Women in Iran.
Summary: Breast cancer affects women all over the world. To help prevent it, researchers in Iran tested a special teaching program. They split 128 women into two groups. One group got six hours of health classes, and the other did not. The classes focused on how women think about their health and the risks of cancer. The results were great! The women who took the classes learned more about breast cancer. They also felt more confident and ready to take steps to protect themselves.
