Empowering Voice Poor Through Participatory Rural Communication Appraisal (PRCA): Analyzing Situation and Promoting Infant Feeding Health Literacy.

Summary: In some parts of India, poor and ignored communities are left out of important health talks. This makes it hard for them to get good health care, especially when it comes to feeding their babies. Researchers went to a village in northern India to listen to these families. Instead of just telling them what to do, the researchers worked with the villagers to understand their real needs. They found out that what the villagers know and need to feed their babies is very different from what the government thinks. By giving these families a voice, they can create better health programs that actually work for them.
