Evaluating an evidence-based iSupport for Dementia programme in routine care services: study protocol for a hybrid type II trial.

Summary: Caring for a loved one with dementia is an incredibly demanding job, and support for these caregivers varies widely across the globe. To bridge this gap, the World Health Organization created "iSupport," an online training and support program. But does a "one size fits all" approach work, or do caregivers need a version customized to their specific local needs? Researchers are launching a major study involving 158 caregivers across Australia and China to find out. They will compare the standard iSupport program against a tailored version to see which one better improves caregiver quality of life and reduces hospital visits for patients.
