FDA clears Protaryx Medical transseptal device aimed at improving left-heart access

Summary: The FDA just approved a new tool by Protaryx Medical that helps doctors reach the left side of the heart more easily. This is an important step for fixing heart problems like atrial fibrillation. Usually, getting to the left side of the heart is tricky and takes a lot of skill.

This new tool uses a "zero-exchange" system, meaning doctors don't have to constantly swap out wires. It also helps them see better during the procedure and uses special energy to make the hole exactly where it needs to be. In early tests, it worked perfectly every time, was faster, and used less radiation. This could make heart surgeries safer, faster, and easier for doctors to learn.
