FKA Twigs Drags Shia LaBeouf Back to Court Over NDA!

Summary: Singer FKA twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, is taking her ex-boyfriend, actor Shia LaBeouf, back to court. The two met on the set of the movie Honey Boy in 2018 and dated for less than a year. In 2020, she sued him for sexual battery, assault, and severe emotional distress. According to court papers, the case was somehow settled in the future in July 2025.

Now, Shia claims she broke their non-disclosure agreement (NDA) by speaking out in a 2024 interview. FKA twigs and her lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, are asking a Los Angeles judge to throw out parts of the NDA. They argue that the contract goes against California law and that the psychological toll on survivors of domestic violence is only made worse when they are forced to stay quiet. Her lawyer says she isn't doing this for money or professional gain, but to help protect the mental health and voices of other women.
