Fu's subcutaneous needling for knee osteoarthritis: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Summary: Knee arthritis can cause a lot of pain and make it hard to move your joints. Many people use standard acupuncture to help ease this pain. A newer type of treatment called Fu's subcutaneous needling (FSN) might work even better. Researchers looked at 14 different studies involving over 1,100 patients to compare the two methods. They found that FSN was much better than regular acupuncture at lowering pain, reducing swelling, and helping knees move smoothly. While the results are very promising, doctors still need to study how well it works over a long period of time.
