Hermès Sales Grow 5.6%, Missing Expectations

Summary: Hermès sales grew by 5.6% early in 2026, reaching €4.1 billion. Even though they are doing better than other big luxury brands like Gucci and LVMH, they still missed their goal of 7% growth. Because of this, their stock dropped 12%. Leather bags sold well, but clothing and shoe sales were flat, especially in France and the Middle East due to fewer tourists. Despite the slowdown, Hermès says they will stick to their usual strategy of high-quality, creative designs.
