High school students explore health careers during afternoon of experiential learning

Summary: On February 9, Vanderbilt Health invited 40 high school student leaders for a special behind-the-scenes tour. These students are part of groups like HOSA-Future Health Professionals. They got to see what it really takes to run a big hospital. Instead of just seeing doctors and nurses, the teens learned about many different jobs. They visited areas like Radiology, the Laboratory, Physical Therapy, and even the folks who clean the tools (Sterile Processing) and handle the food (Diet and Nutrition). It was a great way for these future workers to see all the moving parts needed to care for patients.
