Identifying psychological distress data available in nationally representative surveys: A scoping review and case study of Australian surveys.

Summary: Mental health is incredibly important, but finding the right data to study it can be hard. Researchers looked everywhere to find surveys about mental stress in Australia. They found 283 datasets from 41 different studies done between 1989 and 2023. Most of these surveys asked adults about their stress using a popular test called the K10. However, they noticed that kids, Indigenous people, and people with disabilities were often left out of these surveys. Now, the researchers have created a huge, easy-to-search database so other scientists can quickly find and use this information to help people faster!
