Implementation considerations for a telerehabilitation system to improve patients' adherence to home-based physical exercises: a qualitative study.
Summary: Doing physical therapy exercises at home is hard, and many people skip them. This slows down their healing and makes it harder to get better. To fix this, researchers looked at a new idea: turning home exercises into a fun video game! This system lets physical therapists watch their patients' progress from far away while the patients earn rewards for doing their moves. The researchers talked to patients and therapists to see what they thought. Both groups loved the idea! They said playing games makes doing exercises much more fun. However, the creators must be careful to design the games so they are easy to use for everyone.
