Introducing researchers involved in vector control to modelling for operational decision-making in Benin: report of the workshop, January 17-18, 2024.

Summary: Malaria is still a huge problem, especially in Africa. One big reason it is so hard to fight is a lack of money. To beat the disease, we need to use our limited funds wisely. A great way to do this is by using computers to predict what will happen. This is called "predictive modeling." It helps leaders make smart choices about where to spray for bugs and how to protect people. In January 2024, experts in Benin had a two-day meeting. They learned how to use this math and computer tool to fight malaria and save money.
