La escuela Lisbon Central School recibió una subvención para mejorar la salud de sus estudiantes
Summary: Did you know that only 1 out of every 4 kids gets the 60 minutes of daily exercise they need? Without enough movement, students can have a hard time focusing, learning, and dealing with school stress. To help fix this, the American Heart Association and the NFL have teamed up! They are giving out special grants from a $350,000 annual fund to help schools get kids moving.
Lisbon Central School in Connecticut just won one of these grants and received brand-new flag football equipment. The NFL PLAY 60 program wants to make sure every student gets at least an hour of fun, heart-pumping activity every day to build healthy habits for life.
