Lab-in-a-Tip: a multiplex immunoassay platform based on a self-assembled barcoded protein array.

Summary: Scientists have created a tiny "Lab-in-a-Tip" that fits entirely inside a standard laboratory pipette tip. It can test for many different signs of disease at the exact same time using just a tiny drop of fluid. Compared to the current top testing method, this new tool is incredibly fast—taking only 15 minutes instead of over 3 hours. It also needs much less of a sample and is 100 times better at finding hidden signs of sickness. This makes it a highly promising tool for quick medical tests, especially when doctors only have a very small amount of blood or fluid to work with.
