Man Cave Health Returns with No Cost PSA Screening to Lehigh Valley Auto Show with Partners Pocono Raceway and the Prostate Cancer Foundation
Summary: If you are heading to the Lehigh Valley Auto Show to look at cool cars, you can also do something great for your health. Man Cave Health, Pocono Raceway, and the Prostate Cancer Foundation are teaming up to offer free prostate cancer screenings right at the show.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, affecting 1 in 8 men during their lifetime. The scary part is that there are usually no symptoms at all until the cancer has already spread. But if you catch it early with a simple PSA blood test, it is 99% curable. Last year, out of 300 men tested at the auto show, 10% found out they had high levels and needed follow-up care.
Doctors say men should start getting tested at age 45. If you are African American or have a family history of the disease, you should start at age 40. The free tests will be at Lehigh University's Goodman Campus from March 20 to March 22. Take a quick pit stop to protect your health!
