Management during pregnancy and lactation of patients who are at high risk of breast cancer.
Summary: Breast cancer is the most common cancer in younger women. Pregnancy changes a woman's body, making breast tissue much denser. This density can hide cancer, making it harder for doctors to find it early. Also, younger women often get faster-growing types of breast cancer. While having a baby lowers cancer risk later in life, the risk actually goes up right after birth. Because of this, it is very important for women at high risk to get special check-ups and safe scans while pregnant or breastfeeding.
