Mask R-CNN assisted diagnosis of spinal tuberculosis.
Summary: Spinal tuberculosis is a serious infection of the spine. It is very common in poorer areas and can spread to other people if it is not caught early. Doctors usually look at CT scans to find it, checking for bone damage and other signs. But reading these scans is hard, and sometimes doctors can make mistakes or take too long. To help fix this, scientists built a smart computer program using artificial intelligence (AI). This new tool looks at the CT scans and spots the disease quickly and accurately. It acts like a super-smart assistant for doctors, helping them get the right diagnosis so patients can start treatment sooner!
