Matthew Perry’s assistant Kenneth Iwamasa sentenced to 41 months in prison
Summary: Matthew Perry’s former assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, has been sentenced to 41 months in prison for his role in the actor's tragic death. Perry, famous for his role on Friends, died in 2023 from a ketamine overdose. Iwamasa admitted to buying the drug illegally from doctors and street dealers, and even injecting it into Perry.
Perry's family said they trusted Iwamasa to help the actor fight his addiction, but instead, he helped him get dangerous, off-the-books amounts of the drug. Several other people, including two doctors and a drug dealer known as the "Ketamine Queen," were also sentenced to prison for their parts in supplying the drugs that killed the star.
