Most Adults Report Source of Usual Health Care in US in 2024

Summary: In 2024, about 9 out of 10 adults in the US have a regular place to go for health care. Women are better at this than men! About 93% of women have a usual doctor or clinic, compared to 87% of men. In fact, men are more likely to just use the hospital emergency room as their regular doctor. Also, as people get older, they stop going to urgent care or drug store clinics as much, and more people start using Veterans Affairs (VA) centers.
