Multi-omic landscape of human gliomas from diagnosis to treatment and recurrence.

Summary: Brain cancer, like glioma, is very hard to treat. Scientists looked closely at 670 tumor samples from 310 adults and kids to see why new treatments often fail. They found that in most of these tumors, less than half of the cancer cells have the specific "targets" that new drugs look for. Also, when the cancer comes back after treatment, it changes how it hides among immune cells in the brain. This helps explain why many clinical trials haven't worked well and gives clues for making better treatments in the future.
