Novel Oronasal Drainage for Long COVID: Proposed Mechanisms-Case Report.
Summary: Long COVID can be a debilitating condition with few proven treatments. A new case report introduces a potential therapy called Oronasal Drainage (OND). This technique involves a specialized "abrasive" cleaning of the back of the nose and throat to stimulate fluid flow and drainage. In the case described, the patient experienced a remarkable reduction in symptoms and improved blood circulation in their hands. While this is only one case and requires more testing, it offers a fascinating new physiological approach to managing Long COVID.
