Olympic champion Tom Pidcock pulls out of Volta a Catalunya after fall into ravine

Summary: Tom Pidcock, a two-time Olympic mountain biking champion, had to drop out of a major cycling race in Spain. While riding downhill, he tried to take a drink, missed a turn, and crashed down a ravine! Amazingly, he climbed out and finished that day's race. However, doctors later found he likely damaged bones and ligaments in his right knee and wrist. Because of these painful injuries, he had to withdraw from the rest of the competition to recover.
