Patient demographic and prognostic factors of vulvar squamous cell carcinoma: A National Cancer Database Study.

Summary: Doctors looked at medical records for over 58,000 women with a type of skin cancer on their private parts, called vulvar cancer. They wanted to see what helps women live longer after getting sick. Finding the sickness early, before it turns into full cancer, makes a huge difference. Having surgery, going to a big research hospital, having private health insurance, and making more money also helped women live longer. The study shows that checking for this cancer early is very important to save lives.
