Psychological Safety of Critical Care Nurses in Finland.

Summary: Imagine going to work in an intense, high-stress place like an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It is very important that nurses feel safe to speak up without fear of getting in trouble. This is called "psychological safety." Researchers in Finland gave a survey to 102 ICU nurses to see how safe they felt at work. They found that these nurses felt very safe with their coworkers and their bosses. Older nurses felt even more comfortable with their leaders. Making sure nurses feel safe and supported is a great way to keep them happy and help solve the shortage of nurses around the world.
