Radiological and chemical hazards of persistent organic pollutants in the textile sector.

Summary: Making clothes uses a lot of chemicals and dyes. When factories dump the leftover water, it carries dangerous chemicals into the environment. These chemicals, called persistent organic pollutants, build up in nature and can make people and animals sick. This study looks closely at the wastewater from clothing factories to measure the hidden dangers, including radioactive materials, to see just how risky they are.
