Recent advancements of matrix solid-phase dispersion for food analysis: A greenness evaluation of methods.
Summary: Scientists are trying to make lab tests better for the planet and safer for workers. This movement is called "Green Chemistry." One popular, cheap, and easy way to test food for chemicals is called Matrix Solid-Phase Dispersion (MSPD). This review looks at how well MSPD follows the 12 rules of green chemistry. By checking food tests from the last 15 years, researchers found that MSPD is a great, eco-friendly tool for finding both natural and artificial chemicals in our food.
