Referenceless 4D flow cardiovascular magnetic resonance with deep learning.

Summary: Taking pictures of the heart with a 4D MRI scanner gives doctors amazing information about blood flow, but the test takes a very long time. Usually, the scanner has to take four sets of pictures to measure everything correctly. Scientists trained a smart computer program to perfectly guess one of those sets by just looking at the other three. This means the scanner only needs to take three sets of pictures instead of four! It cuts the amount of data needed by 25%, making the scan much faster for patients without losing any important details.
