Renal manifestations of brucellosis: a case report.

Summary: Brucellosis is a common disease you can catch from animals, and it usually affects the bones and joints. But sometimes, it can surprise doctors by attacking the kidneys, too! In this case, a 55-year-old man came to the hospital with bone pain from brucellosis. Later, doctors found out the bacteria had also caused a rare kidney infection. Thankfully, after taking a mix of antibiotics for six weeks, he was completely cured. This story reminds doctors to check the kidneys when treating this infection.
